Fire Extinguishers & Services

Background Parkway School District is seeking bids from qualified vendors to supply fire extinguishers and related services, including annual inspections, recharging, repairs, and relocation throughout the district. The goal of this contract is to ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain operational readiness of fire safety equipment across all district facilities. Work Details The contractor will provide the following services: 1. Supply fire extinguishers as needed. 2. Conduct annual inspections and certifications of all fire extinguishers in thirty-five district buildings during June through August. 3. Inspect and certify fire extinguishers in outbuildings, including stadiums, primary outbuildings, warehouses, and transportation centers. 4. Perform inspections on fire suppression systems in cafeteria kitchens at Central High, North High, South High, and West High. 5. Provide a Fire and Safety Report detailing the make, model, serial number, location, size, and age of each inspected extinguisher. 6. Inspect eyewash stations and safety showers at each building to ensure they function properly and are free from sediment. 7. Provide training for district staff on the use of fire extinguishers with hands-on demonstrations. Period of Performance The initial term of the contract will be eighteen (18) months from the date of award with options for additional years. Place of Performance Services will be performed at various locations within the Parkway School District in Chesterfield, Missouri. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered to do business in Missouri and comply with federal work authorization programs (E-Verify). They are required to provide proof of insurance covering worker's compensation and general liability as specified in the solicitation.
