Fire Sprinkler System Inspections and MaintenanceThis requirement is for: The Correctional Service of Canada; Atlantic Institution, Dorchester Penitentiary, Springhill Institution, Nova Institution, Parrtown CCC, St. John’s CCC and Jamieson CCC.Trade agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Canada Free Trade Agreement with Chile/Columbia/Honduras/Panama, Canada-Peru Free Trade AgreementTendering procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid.Competitive Procurement Strategy: lowest priced compliant bid.Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business: This procurement is not subject to any set-asides for Indigenous Suppliers.Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: This procurement is not subject to a Comprehensive Land Claims Agreement.Security Requirements: This standing offer does not include security requirements.Nature of Requirements: The following is a summary of the statement of work for this requirement.The Correctional Service Canada has a requirement to conduct yearly fire sprinkler system inspections, maintenance and testing.Objectives: The Contracto must provide yearly Fire Sprinkler System inspection, maintenance and testing to ensure systems are fully functioning as per intended design. The Contractor must respond to service requests, repair and upgrade the fire sprinkler system as required to bring the equipment operational when not functioning per intended design. The Contractor must provide all labour, materials, tools, supervision and equipment necessary for inspection, testing, maintenance, repair, including parts replacement and upgrade of the Fire Sprinkler Systems.The Contractor must include the Fire Pump Systems for Atlantic, Dorchester and Springhill. The other site or Community Correctional Centres (CCC) do not have fire pump system.The Fire Sprinkler System Annual Inspection and Testing does not include the Fire Hydrant, Fire Extinguishers and Fire Hose. Deliverables:While the Contractor is on site, deficiencies the contractor identifies that can be repaired with available material from the Contractor’s stock or from Correctional Service Canada stock must be invoiced as per the standing offer Basis of Payment. The Contractor must obtain the Project Authority’s prior authorization before proceeding with these repairs.For any repairs associated with Annual Inspections or service requests, the Contractor must submit to the Project Authority for review and approval, within two weeks of the inspection or service request, a comprehensive parts and labour cost summary that must include the reason for repair(s). The Contractor must not proceed with the proposed repairs without the Project Authorities prior consent evidenced via a call-up against the standing offer issued by the Project Authority.Service Request Report:  The Contractor must provide a service report containing all details of work performed to the Technical Authority after each visit. When applicable, the Contractor must provide a list of defects, or deficiencies, or both discovered during the visit with recommended corrective actions including an estimated budget cost to correct any deficiencies.The Contractor must submit a detailed and comprehensive signed inspection report to the Project authority no later than five working days following the completion of the inspections or within the timeframe approved by the Technical Authority. Fire Sprinkler System Annual Report:The Contractor must provide an annual report indicating all inspection and testing results for all Fire Sprinkler System covered under the annual inspection requirements.
