THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION This notice is issued solely for informational and planning purposes. This notice does not constitute a solicitation or firm requirement. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is utilizing this Sources Sought for market research to determine what vendors have the capability to fulfill this requirement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this Sources Sought Announcement. In accordance with DFARS 205.205-71 and PGI 206.302-1(d), ACC-RI is issuing this sources sought to seek sources capable of providing upgrades/repairs for a V-180 VIRTRA Firearms Training Simulator System with components and training available for eight staff members, to include: new computers, projectors, computer rack, an Instructor Station including monitors, keyboard and mouse, tracking systems, UPS, updated operating system and a complete base library system. Requirement needs to include four additional years of Service Warranty, which would provide telephone support, remote assistance, labor, parts, travel, software updates and annual service and maintenance visits from qualified technicians. Potential vendors shall be capable of providing a full line of the most challenging and advanced use-of-force simulations that Police and Guard Force may encounter. They shall be able to provide goods and services to the Military Ocean Terminal Concord (Concord, California) area.
