The contract is for the procurement of 306 red fireman’s helmets identified by NSN 4210014937428 at a unit price of $306.00, resulting in a total contract value of $93,636.00. Delivery is required within 60 days from the need ship date of July 9, 2026, with an original required delivery date of November 14, 2026, and the items must be delivered FOB origin to the DLA Distribution facility in San Diego, California. Inspection and acceptance occur at the destination point, and packaging must strictly comply with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA’s RP001 packaging requirements, including dry preservation methods, no special cushioning or wrap materials, and adherence to MIL-STD-129 for marking and barcoding with a unit container code of 10, intermediate container D3, and pack code U.
