The objective of this contract is to support the co-development of a culturally appropriate First Nations Accessibility Assessor Training Program. The goal of the program is to establish a network of approximately 25-40 assessors who are trained to work with individual First Nations communities in identifying and prioritizing their accessibility needs. The intended outcome of this program is to advance accessibility in First Nations communities on reserve by supporting them in assessing all aspects of operations with a view to identifying barriers to accessibility and then prioritizing them for action.
