Fix Roof Leak on Press Box

The Jefferson Parish Government is soliciting bids for the repair of a roof leak on the press box located at LaSalle Park, 6600 Airline Dr., Metairie, Louisiana. The selected contractor must provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to seal all roof closures and install one new metal roof plumbing boot. All work must be performed in a workmanlike manner during normal building hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and must be substantially completed within 14 days of receiving the written Notice to Proceed. The contractor is required to provide a one-year warranty on workmanship and must ensure the job site remains clean and free of debris daily. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. A critical requirement for responsiveness is the submission of final insurance certificates, including Worker's Compensation, Commercial General Liability, and Business Automobile Liability, within ten calendar days of the bid opening. Bidders are mandated to inspect the site and perform their own measurements prior to submitting a bid. All work must be scheduled with the owner's representative, Brent Griffin, five days in advance. Failure to comply with insurance requirements or site protection standards, including the safeguarding of roadways, utilities, and vegetation, may result in bid rejection or contract termination.
