Solicitation # F16CD_AN_APG_Radar_NSN1270012383662_PN_758R990G01
This sources-sought notice issued by the Department of the Air Force, FA8122 Afsc Pzaab, seeks qualified sources for the repair of the Dual Mode Transmitter (NSN 1270-01-238-3662, P/N 758R990G01) used in the F-16 C/D Model AN/APG-68 Radar. To become a qualified source, offerors must notify the government of their intent and certify they possess the necessary facilities, equipment, and personnel for repair, inspection, testing, packaging, and storage. Qualification requires verifying a complete data package, including manufacturer drawing 758R990G01, and demonstrating compliance with Unique Identification requirements and ESA-approved engineering data. Offerors are responsible for the costs of developing a qualification test plan, conducting performance and environmental evaluations, and providing a pre-contract award qualification article for form, fit, and function evaluation. The qualification process is estimated to cost approximately 10,000 dollars and take 1,465 days due to the complexity of the transmitter. While full qualification is generally required for contract eligibility, waivers may be granted to sources that have previously supplied the item to the government or OEM, or those qualified to provide similar assemblies or previous dash numbers of the same part. Technical data for the transmitter includes a comprehensive Repair Data List featuring schematic diagrams and test specifications for various subassemblies, such as the high voltage power supply and RF monitor. The solicitation was posted on June 2, 2026, with a response deadline of December 1, 2028.

The Department of the Air Force, through the Kessel Run Program Management Office at AFLCMC/C3C, is conducting market research via this Request for Information to establish the Department of Air Force Emergency Management Information System (DAF EMIS) under project WARDEN. The objective is to develop a Government-owned, AI-enabled enterprise software capability that decouples and transitions installation Emergency Management capabilities from the legacy C2IMERA system. The required solution must utilize a microservice architecture operating under the Maven Smart System data platform and adhere to Agile, DevSecOps, and Lean product management practices. Key technical requirements include the ability to function within DoD cloud ecosystems, support distributed architecture for edge execution during denied communications, and provide automated geospatial foundations for real-time infrastructure tracking. The system must meet Impact Level 5 and 6 security standards, comply with NIST SP 800-53 and OGC standards, and target a Technology Readiness Level of 7 or greater. This RFI is for planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation for bids or proposals; currently, no funds are available for this effort. Interested vendors must submit unclassified responses by 1700 EST on October 30, 2026, via the designated portal. Responses should focus on capabilities and requirements refinement rather than marketing materials or pricing.
