Elderly Housing Management, acting on behalf of the Marlborough Association for Senior Housing, is seeking qualified single-prime contractors to undertake a comprehensive renovation of the 24-unit Florence S. Lord Senior Housing community located at 155 South Main Street in Marlborough, Connecticut. The project involves extensive upgrades to both apartment units and common areas, including kitchen and bathroom renovations, replacement of finishes, lighting, HVAC, and electrical systems, as well as improvements to mail and package areas, door hardware, and exterior elements such as insulation, siding, trim, windows, sealants, and driveway milling and paving. The work must be performed while the building remains occupied, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruption to residents. All bids must be submitted as sealed proposals and received no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 6, 2026, with a mandatory pre-bid walkthrough scheduled for Monday, July 13, 2026, at 9:00 AM; an optional second walkthrough is offered on Friday, July 17, 2026, exclusively for those who attend the initial meeting.
