Solicitation #: FA8100-11-Q-0070 Purchase Request #: FD2030-11-40165 Nomenclature/Noun: Fluid Cell Press Foundation Design and Installation History: There is no history of previous procurement Description of Services: Requirements for this effort include the Design and Installation of the foundation for the Fluid Cell Press. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, parts, materials, transportation, expertise, and incidentals required to remove the existing concrete floor, excavate and install a load bearing pad for Fluid Cell Press equipment. The Contractor shall provide a schedule of activities specifying project content. This shall include but not be limited to materials procurement and work effort. It shall be of sufficient detail to permit Government engineers to evaluate Contractor's understanding of the scope of work and ability to complete the task within the time frame required by the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The Contractor shall provide a description of the methodology by which any sub-contractors will conform to requirements of the PWS. The Contractor shall provide a description their methodology for managing the labor and material efforts associated with the performance of the PWS. The design for this project must be stamped and signed by an engineer trained in the design of concrete structures and licensed in the State of Oklahoma. The name of the engineer and license number shall be a requirement for an acceptable proposal in response to the RFQ. The government anticipates an award of a firm fixed price contract. Period of Performance is 60 days following contract award. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
