NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Philadelphia intends to solicit a sole source procurement from Sikorsky for five Generator APU Aircraft units, part number 28B508-1-B, under NSN 7R 1680 014806542. This foreign military sales requirement is categorized under NAICS code 336413 and is expected to be awarded via the existing Basic Ordering Agreement N00383-22-G-Y601. The government is pursuing a sole source strategy because it does not own the technical data or drawings required to purchase the parts from other sources. The acquisition will follow FAR Part 15 procedures and is not designated as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. While the government intends to negotiate exclusively with Sikorsky, other responsible sources may submit capability statements or quotations within 45 days of the synopsis to determine if a competitive procurement is warranted. Any firm not previously approved to manufacture the material must submit a Source Approval Request, though the procurement process will not be delayed for such approvals.
