Food and Nutrition Design Consultant

Dickinson ISD is soliciting proposals from qualified foodservice design consultants to provide professional planning and design services for the renovation of key operational areas at McAdams Junior High School, including the cafeteria serving area, warewashing zone, and food holding spaces. The goal is to enhance workflow efficiency, improve customer service, ensure accessibility, and bring the facilities into full compliance with health and safety regulations, while modernizing equipment layouts to meet current and future student meal service demands. The project requires continuous operation of school nutrition services throughout the renovation planning phase, and the consultant must deliver procurement-ready drawings and specifications to enable the district to conduct a competitive bid process for construction and equipment procurement. To preserve fairness and avoid conflicts of interest, the selected consultant and any affiliated entities participating in the design phase are expressly prohibited from bidding on or being involved in the subsequent renovation or equipment contracting work.
