This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 and 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The U.S. Department of the Treasury, Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) anticipates awarding a non-competitive sole source firm fixed price contract for item number 2L002011 (Hood stack and rack systems 32" long X 25" wide X 55' tall) to J & D Interiors. J & D Interiors is the only vendor that can provide this part. Interested organizations should submit a complete package by the due date, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement and which describes their capabilities related to the requirement. The Government will not pay for information solicited. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit their qualifications by the due date which may be considered by the agency. Submissions for review to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing shall not impede award of this contract. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The applicable NAICs code is 314999 and size standard is $500M. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect at the time of publication.
