AI Contract Overview
The State of Minnesota has issued a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) to establish a contract for the procurement of three Ford Transit vehicles: one passenger wagon and two cargo vans (one with ADA upfit and secure, the other with ADA upfit and non-secure) to support its Fleet and Surplus Services. The RFP emphasizes that responses must be submitted exclusively through the Supplier Portal by the specified deadline of May 21, 2025, and non-electronic or email submissions will not be accepted. The State retains the right to award contracts to multiple vendors if deemed in its best interest and may also consider existing NASPO or other cooperative contracts for procurement options. Prospective responders are encouraged to submit any questions in writing by May 14, 2025, to the designated contact, Jennifer Bartle, with responses provided via an addendum. All responses must include completed attachments and adhere to the guidelines outlined in the RFP documents, including reviewing the sample contract and exhibits prior to submission. The contract size is estimated between $120,000 and $180,000, and the solicitation is managed by the Minnesota Department of Administration/State Procurement. The process ensures that the State can select the most suitable vendors to fulfill its vehicle needs while maintaining transparency and adherence to procurement policies.
