Full Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a Sole-Source Purchase Order and is not a request for competitive proposals. The authority for this sole-source procurement is FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Gordon intends to issue a Sole-Source, Firm-Fixed price purchase order to Leica Microsystems 1700 Leider Lane Buffalo Grove, IL 60089. The requirement is for Leica FSC Comparison Microscope assemblies: Motorized comparison microscope system for examination and comparison of ammunition components and tool marks. Each system includes a one (1) year warranty that applies to all hardware components. Must be complete systems to include the height adjustable motorized column with motorized comparison bridge, dust cover, 10x eyepieces, workbench, monitor attachment for workbench, PC mount, objectives (0.4x, 1x, 2x and 4x), LED light source, cold light illumination bar, LED spot illuminator, diffuser, LED light bar, tilting stage, stage holders and attachments, stage micrometer, Leica HD camera, hardware dongle, LAS measurement module, LAS annotation module, LAS live measurement, LAS workstation, HD monitor, keyboard, and shipping and handling. The justification for the sole source is due to Leica Microsystems being the only authorized Leia Applie Miroscopy Sales Team for Fort Gordon, GA This notice of intent is not a request for Competitive Proposals. However, the Government shall consider all responses received by 3:00pm EST on 27 July 2022 . All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish capability to fulfill this requirement.
