This contract, managed by the Economic Governance and Citizen Engagement Project in Burkina Faso, focuses on enhancing the operational capacity of 17 decentralized financial systems across the North, Centre Nord, Centre, and Plateau Central regions. The primary objective is to provide specialized training for personnel on internal auditing and risk management specifically tailored for the microfinance sector. Beyond training, the scope of work includes the practical development of risk mapping and the creation or updating of risk management manuals. This initiative aims to strengthen the institutional framework and financial stability of the participating organizations through improved oversight and standardized risk mitigation protocols.
