This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.


Solicitation number FA822726Q6305 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.



This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside announcement filed under NAICS code 333248 and Product Service Code 3695. This requirement will provide a Selection Laser Sintering (SLS) 3D printing system for the RAPID Innovation Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. The product provided will be supplied in accordance with the specifications in the attached Purchase Description.

 CLIN will be established on a firm fixed price basis.
 Proposals must indicate if the vendor can achieve delivery within 4 Weeks ARO (after
receipt of order). If this delivery is not practicable, vendor must propose an alternate delivery schedule.



Selection of awardee will include comparative analysis in accordance with RFO 12.203, Evaluation of Quotations and Offers, giving value to: price, meeting specifications in the product description, past performance, and delivery within the specified timeframe. The Government intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). Evaluation is on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis. All offers will be evaluated on their proposed Total Price. The contract will be awarded to the company with the lowest price that fully meets all specifications. Only the lowest priced proposal will be evaluated for technical acceptability. The next lowest offer will only be evaluated if the aforementioned offer is not found technically acceptable (and so on). Only one award will be made under this solicitation. Technical Requirements: please see attached Purchase Description for specifications.


Any exceptions to the instructions specified in the Purchase Description must be identified in the quote. By submitting a quote, the contractor agrees to all stipulations in the purchase specification unless specified as an exception in the quote.
