Full Description
The purpose of this update is to inform industry partners and interested vendors of a schedule change regarding the release of the upcoming solicitation for FS3i. The issuance of the formal solicitation has been delayed. The Government now anticipates releasing the solicitation later than anticipated but still within the current calendar year. This schedule adjustment is necessary to accommodate planned minor modifications to the Performance Work Statement (PWS), as well as targeted revisions to Section L (Instructions, Conditions, and Notices to Offerors) and Section M (Evaluation Factors for Award).
The Government is implementing these revisions to directly improve the overall solicitation process. By refining the PWS and updating Sections L and M, the Government aims to:
Provide greater clarity and precision regarding the mission requirements.
Ensure proposal instructions are straightforward and unambiguous.
Streamline the evaluation criteria to facilitate a more efficient, transparent, and fair assessment of all proposals.
Interested parties are advised to continue monitoring SAM.gov for future updates, draft documents, and the eventual release of the official Solicitation. No further action is required from industry at this time.
