FPGA DEVELOPMENT BOARD

NASA/GRC has a requirement for two each FPGA Development Boards, Part Number: XUSP3R-0009 Xilinx Virtex UltraScale PCle, and 1 each Electrtonic Download of BittWorks II Toolkit for Linux, Part Number: ED-BW2TK-LNX-FDK-01. NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from BittWare, 45 S. Main Street, Concord, NH 03301. This is a unique piece of hardware that supports many projects at NASA/GRC and meets the following needs: -This board supports quad QSFP 400GbE data rates. -This board has 256 gigabytes of the latest DDR4 memory for data buffering and management. -This board uses the latest Ultrascale FPGA, which is needed for the 400Gbps data rates. - This board has expansion ports, enabling multiple-in multiple-out communications. -This board has a PCIe interface, which is necessary for making it work with our lab computers. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on 8/25/2016. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
