***** FINAL EXTENSION DELAY *** The National Research Council of Canada’s Ocean, Coastal and River Engineering (OCRE) Research Centre is launching an initiative to enhance its physical testing facilities using modern digital —specifically, its large-scale hydraulic laboratory located in Ottawa. This laboratory supports physical modeling and testing of coastal, riverine, and flood protection infrastructure and plays a critical role in advancing research and innovation in climate resilience and water infrastructure. This Request for Information (RFI) seeks input on available technologies, methodologies, and best practices that can support the digital transformation of this facility. The insights gathered will inform the scope and direction of the initiative, with the goal of enhancing research capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and advancing environmental performance through digitalization.
