Friendship Garden, LLC

The Friendship Garden, LLC project involves the development of a small outdoor commercial cannabis cultivation site located at 51 Manzanita Court in Hayfork, Trinity County, California. Approved by the Department of Cannabis Control under the Business and Profession Code, the project is authorized to cultivate up to 10,000 square feet of mature cannabis canopy on Assessor's Parcel Number 019-450-013-000. The cultivation plan includes approximately 9,996 square feet of mature canopy distributed across 121 existing and 83 proposed 7x7 foot canopy areas situated on previously disturbed land. To support these operations, the project will utilize an existing 10x12 foot harvest storage shed and install several new structures, including a 10x12 foot processing shed, two 6x50 foot hoop houses for immature canopy, an 8x8 foot agricultural chemical storage shed, a 10x10 foot cannabis waste composting area, and a 2,500-gallon water storage tank. The project's infrastructure and utility requirements are designed to minimize environmental impact, with all installations occurring on previously disturbed areas without tree removal or the use of heavy equipment. Power will be supplied by generators under 50hp, with plans for a future solar system, while wastewater needs will be managed by an existing permitted onsite septic system. Road improvements and surfacing may be conducted as necessary to facilitate access. This environmental evaluation has been certified by the Department of Cannabis Control Environmental Evaluation Office, noting that the project is exempt from further CEQA analysis under specific categorical and statutory exemptions, including CEQA Guidelines Section 15183. The project remains compliant with local regulations, including Trinity County Resolution No. 2020-103 and Ordinance No. 315-823.
