Full Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to modify a contract to Robertson Fuel Tank Systems, L.L.C of Temple, AZ. for the overhaul repair services and procures parts for the fuel tank systems . This effort will support the Army Special Operations Aviation (ARSOA) fleet. These repairs are on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(iii). Robertson Aviation owns the rights to the drawings and the manufacturing process, has no authorized dealers, and is required to insure continued airworthiness of the fuel tank systems. Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within the response time set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
