REFERENCE: N0018321Q0119U0001 The original solicitation N0018321Q0119 was posted on Beta Sam August 02, 2021 and close on August 12, 2021. The Solicitation contained an error and will need to be amended and re-solicited on Beta Sam. The customer was requesting a 4-years of combined licensing agreement. Contracting does not have the authority to purchase 4 years of a service with 1 year funding. I am a new Contract Specialist and new to these types of contract, when I posted the initial Solicitation I miss this error in the request for a 4 year Requisition with 1 year funding. When speaking with one of the Vendors for this request. I uncovered that the 4 year unlimited combined licenses and fees would be undergoing a change in the near future and this option would be going away. This would mean a 4'year combined agreement could be canceled and potentially the government would lost that forward paid funding. It is in the best interest of the government that I amend this error and request for one year of combined licenses and fees coverage. The two vendor the initially bided on the August 02, 2021, Solicitation both offer 1 year coverage for the above request. I will re-solicited the Amended Requisition on August 16, 2021 on Beta Sam for 5 days Close on August 20,2021; per KO instruction.
