Furnish and Install Furniture and Gym Equipment

The Maryland Army National Guard is issuing a total small business set aside for office furniture and gym equipment for the Dundalk Readiness Center located in Baltimore, MD. The primary NAICS code for this project will be 238390. The solicitation will be posted on July 17, 2015 as a Small Business set aside. A site visit will be held on the same day at 10:00 AM EST at the Dundalk Readiness Center. A copy of the solicitation will be available at the site visit on this day only. After the site visit, all documentation will be available on FBO only. The project consists of: Furnishing and installation of the modular furniture, lateral file cabinets, wardrobe, freestanding desks, desk chairs, classroom tables and chairs, conference tables and chairs, fitness equipment furnishings and trash receptacles throughout the facility. The facility covers approximately 66,000 square feet and will accommodate around 400 personnel. The furniture will cover general staff offices/cubicles to executive office furniture. Some of the modular furniture will be "daisy" chained together. Final connection to electrical will be completed by a third party vendor. Part of the facility will consist of a gym which will require new equipment such as treadmills, bench machines, dumbbell racks, leg press, medicine balls, kettlebells and other exercise items. The proposer/awardee will remove all packing, debris, boxes, strapping, cardboard, pallets, etc from the project site and he/she will not use the Design Builder's dumpsters. MANDATORY SITE VISIT 7/17/2015 AT 10:00AM ET: To attend the site visit, vendors shall arrive at 1200 North Point Road Baltimore, Maryland 21222-1621, at the new entrance temporary gravel entrance and proceed straight ahead to the blacktop parking lot. This is an active construction zone, so vendors are REQUIRED to wear the proper personnel protection equipment (PPE). This is to include a hard hat, hi-vis vest, pants or trousers, hard soled shoes or boots, and eye protection. If you do not adhere to the protection requirement, you will not be allowed on site. An escort will be provided to all vendors attending the site visit after inspection of PPE. Effective May 29, 2012 Government systems such as CCR and ORCA (on-line representations and certifications) were migrated into the System for Award Management (SAM). FedBizOpps is a web-based dissemination tool designed to safeguard acquisition-related information for all Federal agencies. Interested bidders/offerors must register with FedBizOpps before accessing the system. Bidders/Offerors cannot log into the FedBizOpps home page and search for data. This solicitation is not a competitive bid and there will not be a formal public bid opening.
