Full Description

As the landlord for the civilian federal government, Public Buildings Service (PBS) acts as a caretaker for federal properties across the country. PBS manages over 370 million rentable square feet of workspace for federal employees, owns 1,600 plus assets totaling over 180 million rentable square feet, and manages 7,000 plus leased assets totaling over 180 million rentable square feet including nearly 500 historic properties. Working collaboratively with GSA's Federal Acquisition Service (FAS), PBS plans on utilizing GSA Multiple Award Schedule 03FAC, Facilities Maintenance and Management, where practicable, to meet future Operations and Maintenance (O&M) requirements. To this end, GSA FAS is currently recruiting a competitive pool of qualified contractors to provide O&M solutions on PBS properties. GSA PBS traditionally seeks O&M contractors with extensive experience providing total facility solutions including maintenance on major mechanical systems such as HVAC and Electrical. Contractors who have provided O&M services on PBS properties in the past, or contractors who can illustrate the capability to provide O&M solutions within the PBS inventory in the future, are encouraged to submit an offer to participate on Schedule 03FAC.
