FY 26-27-CAT2 Cabling Van Buren - Cedar Rapids CSD

CEDAR RAPIDS COMM SCHOOL DIST Billed Entity Number - 132601 is requesting bids for structured cabling installation as specified in the RFP Documents. Bids must be inclusive of all materials, installation, and configuration. The District intends to fund this project with E-Rate Category 2. Service Providers are required to have an E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) and Green Light Status. This Project RFP can be downloaded in its entirety from the Districts Ionwave bidding portal. This project is part of a package requesting bids for a reconstruction on the site of Van Buren Elementary School. The structured cabling request will be coordinated with the General and Sub Contractors who are awarded the overall project bid. The service provider selected for this E-Rate project must be willing to work as part of a large-scale building construction project inclusive of project managers, site superintendent, contractors and sub-contractors. Respondents to this Form 470 are held to the same requirements as all service providers responding with bids. This is inclusive of required bonds, service provider qualifications & assurances. It is the responsibility of the responding service provider to read, submit questions, and understand the requirements of this E-Rate Funded structured cabling request. The E-Rate eligible structured cabling award will be a direct contract with the District and not included in the overall construction contract with Larson Construction. Bid bonds and P&P bonds for the structured cabling project will be required. See details in RFP attachments.

The Cedar Rapids CSD Purchasing Office and/or Board of Directors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any portion thereof, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract(s) as deemed to be in the best interest of the Cedar Rapids Community School District, located in Linn County, State of Iowa. General Requirements Bids must itemize (a). cost of equipment (b). cost of installation, if applicable; and (c). cost of taxes/fees/shipping, if applicable. Bids should also include specific make and model of equipment, as well as the SKU of each piece of equipment. Bids should specify terms of the manufacturers warranty and what the license term is (if applicable). No refurbished equipment shall be bid. The district reserves the right to cancel this request for bids and to reject all related proposals. Prices need to be held firm through the duration of the 2020 E-Rate Category 2 installation period (from date of bid to September 30, 2027).
