Payment is governed by the Texas Prompt Payment Act, with invoices required to include the vendor’s Texas Payee Identification Number, the receiving entity’s name, purchase order details, shipment date, and item references; payment is due no later than 30 days after receipt of goods or services and an undisputed invoice, with no late payment penalties incurred by the state during this window.
