The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Detroit District intends to solicit for Maintenance Dredging at St. Joseph Inner Harbor, Michigan. Work include mobilize dredge to St. Joseph Inner Harbor and dredge between the upstream and downstream limits. Transport and place the dredged materials at the placement area located at the Southwest Michigan Regional Airport. The Contractor will obtain a site to transfer the dredged material into trucks for transport to placement area. The estimated cost of construction is between $1,000,000 and $500,000. This Project is being procured as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The Government intends to issues a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard for this requirement is $27.5 million in average annual receipts. The tentative date for posting the solicitation is 1 March 2016, with award of contract by the end of May 2016. The solicitation package will include the drawings/plans and specifications.
