FY18/19 DAS-4 Production, Retrofit, & Spares

The Medium Altitude Unmanned Aircraft System (MAUAS) Division (AFLCMC/WIIK) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to Raytheon Company in McKinney, TX for the FY18/FY19 DAS-4 Production, Retrofit, & Spares effort for the MQ-9 Reaper program. This notice is not a request for competitive proposal. The proposed contract will include DAS-4 Turret Units (TUs) and associated Spares. Raytheon Space and Airborne System has been identified as the only firm that possesses the necessary knowledge, experience, and technical data required to perform this effort. The Government does not own full data rights to the system. Therefore, to avoid duplication of cost, the Government intends to award the effort pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.301-1. The FY18/FY19 DAS-4 requirement is listed below: Twenty-four (24) AN/DAS-4 Multi-Spectral Targeting Systems Model B High Definition/Target Location Accuracy (MTS-B HD/TLA) TUs for Aircraft Production; forty-four (44) DAS-4 TUs for Aircraft Retrofit; four (4) DAS-4 TUs for Aircraft Spares; thirty-six (36) DAS-4 TUs for Aircraft Retrofit (option); twenty-one (21) DAS-4 TUs for Overseas Contingency Operation (OCO) Aircraft Production (option); four (4) DAS-4 TUs for OCO Aircraft Spares; one (1) lot of DAS-4 Shop Replaceable Unit Spares; one (1) lot of Software Data Deliverables (Option); and Associated Data.
