A specification sheet for the lift station has been attached for reference. The close date for this solicitation has been extended to 13 May 2026, 2:00 PM EDT due to clerical errors in the original Statement of Work. The following attachments reflect the necessary changes:

A Site Visit will be held on Tuesday, 05 May 2026. PLEASE NOTE that all interested vendors MUST meet with Contracting personnel at the Air Base Visitor’s Center located at 700 W Hill Blvd, Joint Base Charleston (JBC), SC 29404 no later than 8:40 AM EDT on Tuesday, 05 May. We will coordinate base access at the Visitor’s Center first and then escort vendors to the site location at 200 E Simpson St, JBC, SC 29404. Prior to site visitation, the names and email addresses of all attendees must be submitted to Contract Specialist SrA Kuhl, carmen.kuhl@us.af.mil and nicholas.riccio.1@us.af.mil NLT 2:00 PM EDT on 04 May.


The project consists of providing all plant, labor, material parts, and equipment necessary to replace standpipes, bases, and guide rails on the sewer lift station at building 509 on Joint Base Charleston Air Base, South Carolina. See all attachments for full details. The project requirements include, but are not limited to the following major items of work:


Sewer Lift station Contractor Requirements:
• Set-up to perform OSHA Permitted Confined Space Entry (CSE).
• Plug manhole and install contractor-provided bypass pump.
• Pull pump #1 and perform CSE to remove #1 guide rail, standpipe, and base.
• Set new base, new standpipe, and new guide rail using new guide rail brackets.
• Repeat process for other bases, standpipes, and guide rails on the other 3 existing pumps.
• Once installed, all components will be tested for functionality to ensure normal operations.


This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
