SUNY Schenectady Natural Gas Supply Services

Solicitation # 2140092

SUNY Schenectady is soliciting quotes through RFQ 2026-07 for the provision of fixed-price natural gas supply services. The college is seeking qualified suppliers and brokers to provide all-inclusive pricing on a per-therm basis for either a three-year or five-year contract term, with a projected start date of February 1, 2027. All accounts are located within NYISO Zone F in the National Grid/NIMO territory. The college prefers a dual billing arrangement where National Grid handles delivery billing and the selected supplier invoices separately for supply charges on Net 30 terms. No separate broker fees are permitted, as all compensation must be embedded in the per-therm rate. This procurement is conducted as a competitive sealed bid for a commodity purchase, and the contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Bidders are not required to submit a technical proposal but must provide a cost bid in a separate sealed envelope along with several mandatory certifications, including conflict of interest disclosures, non-collusive bidding certifications, and evidence of authorization to supply natural gas in New York State. The deadline for bid submissions is November 19, 2026, at 2:00 PM. Successful bidders must maintain industry-standard insurance and ensure all assigned staff execute non-disclosure agreements.
