FY26 Fort Pickett Fire Department - Forcible Entry Door Simulator

The Commonwealth of Virginia Department of Military Affairs is soliciting bids from eVA Certified vendors to provide a forcible entry door simulator for the Fort Pickett Fire Department in Blackstone, Virginia. The required equipment includes a crush door with three slabs, a multi-force door featuring various swinging configurations and metal or wood jams, an attached cutting station, a removable wheel system for mobility, and a free-standing cut tree for practicing hinge pulling and lock body cutting. Bidders must submit firm unit prices electronically via the eVA portal and provide detailed technical literature or catalog cuts to demonstrate compliance. If an equivalent product is offered instead of the referenced brand, it must be explicitly stated in the proposal. The contract is subject to various federal and state regulations, including the Davis-Bacon Act, the Copeland Anti-kickback Act, and the Build America Buy America Act, which requires that iron, steel, and manufactured products be produced domestically.
