FY26 LRS ISU-90 Mobility Containers

The Department of Defense is seeking ten ISU-90 or equal mobility containers through a total small business set-aside under solicitation FA441826Q0058, issued on June 4, 2026, with proposals due by June 16, 2026. These containers are intended for use by the 628th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Joint Base Charleston, South Carolina, to facilitate the secure transport and storage of aircraft wheels and tires in support of C-17 deployments. Each container must meet stringent technical specifications including a standard 108-inch by 88-inch footprint, a center dividing wall, two access doors, a minimum payload capacity of 10,000 pounds, and the ability to stack two high whether loaded or empty. The equipment must be constructed from weather, dust, and sand-proof materials with an aluminum extruded, mechanically fastened base and be painted standard green. Certification from the Air Transportability Testing and Loading Agency (ATTLA) as approved carriers for USAF prime cargo mission aircraft is mandatory prior to award, and all items must comply with MIL-STD-130 and MIL-STD-129 for unique identification, machine-readable marking, and shipment labeling. The contractor must also provide a manufacturer’s warranty and adhere to all DoD supply chain and reporting standards.
