AI Contract Overview
The Department of Defense, through the 22nd Contracting Squadron at McConnell Air Force Base, is conducting a sources-sought request for information (RFI) to identify qualified small business vendors capable of providing specialized services related to the sanitization and management of Government-owned iPad Air M3 devices. The key requirements include permanent physical removal or disabling of wireless and audio components on 30 iPad devices to ensure secure use in sensitive environments, along with the provision of dedicated physical docking infrastructure to enable iOS and publication updates exclusively via hardwired connections. Additionally, vendors must support centralized device management for an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Program Manager, operating without any wireless connectivity or standard communication applications to meet real-world operational needs. This RFI is purely for market research and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation or contract award. Vendors interested in participating must submit capability statements by the July 15, 2026 deadline. The Government emphasizes that all responses are voluntary, proprietary information will be protected, and no payment will be provided for submission costs or information. Pricing details should not be included in responses, which will not be returned. The effort is designated as a total small business set-aside under NAICS code 811210, with performance expected in Prairie Village, Kansas. The primary points of contact for this effort are A1C Mohammed Diallo and TSgt Brian Brammer at the 22 CONS/PKA office.
