NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE (Post on sam.gov as a Special Notice)
Requisition Number: M-26-A34-R-000524
The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price contract for office furniture. The intent to sole source is due to the requirement to be urgent and compelling. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12-month base year. The total estimated value is less than $20,000.00. This sole source contracting action is pursuing a waiver from placing an order on a competitive basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-2 for the aforementioned requirement and FAR 5.003 and FAR 13.105. This hereby constitutes a synopsis of the options included in this requirement. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. Questions or comments to this Notice of Intent should be directed to Contracting Officer, Abdul Dunn, at abdul.dunn@usdoj.gov via e-mail only (no phone calls/voice mail messages regarding questions will not be accepted and will not receive a response).
