Sources Sought Synopsis The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to assist in our decision-making process for a service procurement. This is not a solicitation, nor a request for quotes or proposals. Responses to this sources sought synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. The Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought synopsis request. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award of a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21, is conducting market research to identify potential vendors with economic status of Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned, and other Small Businesses that can provide the general requirements below. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS Contractor will provide residential care including care for Acts of Daily Living (ADL) and Independent Acts of Daily Living (IADL) care for Veterans and must have an Adult and Senior Care Facility license (Residential Care Facility for the Elderly RCFE ) in the State of CA to provide ADL and IADL care. The program will also provide case management services to homeless Veterans in order to assist them to improve their income, health care, and access to long term permanent housing. The program residential facility must be located in Contra Costa, Solano, Yolo, Sacramento and West Placer Counties in California (See PWS Addendum 1 Zip Codes). The program will provide each Veteran room & board, private or shared bathroom and common area. This contract will be for between 1 and 5 beds, starting with 4 beds, for men and women. The program should have a minimum establishment of one-year in the required zip codes.
