This contract pertains to the procurement of a dial indicating pressure gage, identified by part number PK845088 ITEM 24 and NSN 6685015644316, with an approved alternate source being Ashcroft Inc under part number EA23-3PVF-RWBX. Six units are required to be delivered within 56 days to the DLA Distribution facility in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, under FOB origin terms with no tolerance for quantity variance. The item is classified as a configuration control item and a critical application item, subject to stringent quality and documentation requirements including tailored higher-level contract quality standards, configuration change management, and removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies. Sampling must follow MIL-STD-1916 or ASQ H1331 with zero non-conformances required unless otherwise specified, and all attributes must be verified at designated levels corresponding to critical, major, and minor classifications. The gage must be marked per MIL-STD-129 with a special marking code for delicate instruments and packaged in compliance with MIL-STD-2073-1E and DLA packaging requirements, with no mercury or mercury-containing compounds permitted in preservation, packaging, or marking processes. Mercury is prohibited except in specified functional components such as batteries, fluorescent lights, and sensors under strict containment requirements per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Item Unique Identification is not required as per customer directive, and documentation for source approval must be submitted in accordance with RC001.
