GAOA Trail Maintenance 2022 - Project 800 / Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests

This is a Presoliciation Notice only for the upcoming GAOA Trail Maintneance 2022 - Project 800 for the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests for the North Zone-North Fork Ranger District and the South Zone-Salmon River and Red River Ranger Districts. The Soliciation is expected to post on or around 10/19/2021. Addiitional information and attachments with the Schedule will be posted at that time. Description of Work: This project is one of the implementation projects of the Great American Outdoors Act (GAOA). The goal of the GAOA project is to reduce deferred maintenance of recreation infrastructure. The Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests needs deferred trail maintenance on trails across the Forest. The work includes logging out and brushing, on non-wilderness and wilderness trails as described in the technical specifications. Contractors shall be held responsible for all downed trees; there will be NO tree counting. The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and materials to perform all operations necessary to accomplish the work in accordance with the contract terms, conditions, specifications, drawings and contract attachments/exhibits. This solicitation may result in the award of one or more award firm fixed price contracts. Each resultant award will require performance of trail deferred maintenance work for the Forest in a specific geographic area (North Zone/South Zone) as defined by the Item descriptions and maps provided as attachments to the contract. Period of Performance: The period of performance is from the notice to proceed date through October 31, 2022. The expected notice to proceed date is April 15, 2022.
