Gartner Licenses

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is tasked with controlling, securing and defending the U.S. Border and maritime approaches from illegal migration, foreign invasion and other threats. The Coast Guard protects America’s ports and waterways and is critical to our economic and national security. The Aviation Logistics Center (ALC) is responsible for the precision maintenance, repair, and logistical support for the entire Coast Guard aviation fleet. This includes aircraft overhaul and repair, technical engineering support, inventory and procurement management; parts manufacturing, information services and personnel support. Force Design 2028 (FD2028) is the new path forward that will drive transformational changes and allows the Coast Guard to better serve the American people, align with the other five military services, and swiftly effect needed change through strong oversight and control. In order to meet this bold mission of transforming the Service to ensure maritime dominance and border security, the ALC requires support in modernizing and transforming their logistics and procurement strategy and program, a refocus on cybersecurity and using emerging AI technologies. To support these efforts, Gartner will equip the Executive Director and his team with commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) Gartner products that provide data-driven tools, diagnostics and execution-focused resources to drive efficiencies and reduce cost. ALC can be confident that Gartner is an independent and objective source of information. Gartner is the only organization of its kind equipped with an Office of the Ombuds to ensure that our intelligence is objective, independent and meets our rigorous quality standards. With the proposed Gartner solution, ALC’s Executive Director and his team will be empowered to execute the tasks to support FD2028’s Strategic Imperative and Key Enablers.
