The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aerospace Energy Business Unit is seeking sources for the delivery of Gaseous Nitrogen (GN2) to a customer-owned pipeline supporting Pratt & Whitney in Jupiter, Florida. The contractor is expected to provide all necessary product, materials, supplies, management, tools, equipment, transportation, energy, and labor to fulfill this requirement on an FOB destination basis. While this notice is not a request for proposals, it serves as an informational announcement for a forthcoming GN2 supply contract. Interested parties were initially invited to an Industry Day event intended to familiarize potential offerors with the project details; however, the originally scheduled Industry Day on March 15, 2018, was cancelled due to unforeseen mission priorities, with a rescheduled session held on April 18, 2018. Potential vendors are required to submit the full names and last four digits of Social Security Numbers for points of contact no later than April 10, 2018, and all visitors attending meetings must present proper government-issued identification to gain access to the Pratt & Whitney facility. Documentation previously referencing Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne has been corrected to reflect simply Pratt & Whitney. Vendors are advised to regularly monitor the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website for updates, including the issuance of a formal Request for Proposals (RFP) anticipated in the near future for this requirement. The solicitation is classified under NAICS code 325120 and is managed by contracting officers Willard M. Ramseur and Patricia A. Bocock.
