GASKET

The contract is for the supply of four gaskets identified by NSN 5330-00-917-0884 under solicitation SPE7L3-26-T-108W, with a delivery deadline of 168 days after award. All items must comply with the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with the applicable revision determined by the solicitation.issue date for simplified acquisitions or the RFP issue date for large acquisitions, unless an amendment supersedes it. Packaging must meet MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1, requiring medium duty, waterproof, greaseproof, and opaque containment to protect against UV degradation, applicable to direct vendor delivery, foreign military sales, and stock shipments. The gaskets must be free of asbestos, and no intentional addition or direct contact with mercury or mercury compounds is permitted, except for functional uses in batteries, fluorescent lights, specified instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or chemical analysis reagents approved by NAVSEA; portable devices containing mercury must include shock-proof construction and a second containment boundary per NAVSEA 5100-003D. Identification marking must follow MIL-STD-130N, and any removal of government identification from non-accepted supplies must adhere to RQ011.
