The contract is for the procurement of two gaskets identified by NSN 5330-01-236-5064, with delivery required within 20 days of award to Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard in Hawaii. The item is defined by Technical Data Package Rev A Gen 3 per Basic Drawing NR 53711 7066457 Revision A dated June 5, 1998, and must comply with all applicable military and consensus standards. Prohibited materials include asbestos as defined in FED-STD-313 and mercury or mercury-containing compounds, except for functional uses in batteries, fluorescent lights, instruments, sensors, controls, weapon systems, or NAVSEA-specified chemical reagents; portable fluorescent lamps and instruments containing mercury must be shockproof with secondary containment per NAVSEA 5100-003D. The gasket must be packaged in accordance with MIL-STD-2073-1E using specified QUP, preservation, and container codes, and sealed in a medium-duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bag compliant with MIL-DTL-117, Type II, Class C, Style 1. Labeling must follow MIL-STD-129 with no special marking required, and hazardous materials must be labeled per 29 CFR 1910.1200. Quality conformance is governed by RQ006 and the DLA Master List of Technical and Quality Requirements, with sampling required to be conducted using MIL-STD-1916, ASQ H1331 Table 1, or an equivalent zero-based sampling plan. Attributes are to be classified as critical, major, or minor with corresponding verification levels VII, IV, II or AQLs of 0.1, 1.0, and 4.0 respectively; unspecified attributes are deemed major.
