AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE7L3-27-T-0918 is a request for quotations issued by the DLA Weapons Support Land Supplier Ops Vehicle SPT for the procurement of two spiral wound gaskets, identified by NSN 5330-01-468-7876. The items are designated as critical application equipment and must be delivered FOB destination to the USS Thomas Hudner DDG116 within 20 days after the award. The procurement strictly prohibits the use of asbestos as defined in FED-STD-313 and restricts the intentional addition of mercury or mercury-containing compounds. The contract requires strict adherence to military standards for identification and packaging, specifically MIL-STD-130N for marking and MIL-STD-2073-1E for packaging. Due to the potential for ultraviolet ray deterioration, the gaskets must be sealed in medium duty, waterproof, greaseproof, opaque bags per MIL-DTL-117. Administrative requirements include electronic invoicing through the Wide Area WorkFlow system and compliance with various FAR and DFARS clauses regarding cybersecurity, the Buy American Act, and the safeguarding of covered defense information. All quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System.
