Gatesville ISD JR High Campus Interior Lighting Fixture Replacement (Labor Only)

Gatesville ISD is soliciting labor-only proposals for the replacement of interior lighting fixtures at Gatesville Junior High Campus, located at 307 S. Lovers Lane, Gatesville, Texas. The scope of work includes the complete removal and proper disposal of existing lighting fixtures and associated wiring, along with the installation of 132 owner-furnished 2x4 LED Flat Panel Backlit Lumen/KE fixtures. Contractors are responsible for providing all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, and incidental materials required to complete the work in accordance with specifications. Field verification of existing conditions is mandatory prior to proposal submission. All work must be performed on-site, and deliveries must occur during designated hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Freight costs must be included in the quoted unit price, and no additional charges beyond the bid amount will be accepted. The District has already procured all fixtures and is seeking only installation services. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed package by the deadline of June 4, 2026, at 2:00 PM, and must include a fully completed packet of mandatory forms, including the Packet Cover Page, Proposer Information Response Form, List of References, Deviation/Compliance Signature Form, Resident/Nonresident Certification, Anti-Collusion Statement, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Certificate of Interested Parties (Form 1295), Model SB 9 Criminal History Certification, Felony Conviction Notice, House Bill 89 Verification, Senate Bill 252 Certification, and IRS Form W-9. Form 1295 must be completed electronically through the Texas Ethics Commission, printed, signed by an authorized agent, notarized, and submitted with the bid. Proposers must certify compliance with state laws regarding felony convictions, equal opportunity employment, anti-boycott of Israel, and avoidance of business with foreign terrorist organizations. Invoicing requires separate submission per purchase order with original receipt of materials; payment is due within 30 days of invoice receipt, contingent on delivery to the correct location, item condition, and compliance with specifications. The District reserves the right to terminate the contract immediately for non-performance, unacceptable conduct, or failure to meet schedules and will hold the contractor accountable for replacing defective work or damaged items at no cost.
