Intent to Sole Source The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Office, intends to issue a firm-fixed price sole source award for the dumpster and garbage disposal at and around Grand Coulee Dam to Sunrise Disposal, Okanogan, Washington. The requirement is for a one base period of performance with 4 option year periods starting June 1, 2018 – May 31, 2019. Option years are from 2019 – 2023. Currently, Sunrise Disposal is the only contractor authorized by the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission to provide solid waste services around Grand Coulee dam. The government intends to negotiate this requirement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1).
