The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) issued a firm fixed price order under BOA N00019-14-G-0019 with Lockheed Martin Corporation for non-recurring and recurring efforts required to manufacture, test and deliver 69 Gen VI MCs, 87 MMI Retrofit Wiring Kits and 24 AMC-Ls in support of the MH-60R/S platform. This action was awarded on a sole source basis to Lockheed Martin Corporation in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." Lockheed Martin is the prime integrator for the MH-60 aircraft and is the only known source with the knowledge, experience and proprietary technical data to successfully perform these tasks.
