The intent of this Request for Proposals is for Anoka County to seek proposals from a wide variety of qualified General Contractors to perform construction and construction-related work under various funding sources, including County, State, and/or Federal funding. Projects which are fully County funded are exempt from prevailing wages. Interested General Contractors will have the opportunity to select whether they can and are willing to provide work under prevailing wage and/or non-prevailing wage requirements in their proposal. Construction projects will vary in nature and scope, with any one project not expected to exceed $175,000 under the master contract. In general, for any project using County funds, anticipated to be over $25,000, before submitting a request for a purchase order, Anoka County employees are required to obtain and evaluate at least two (2) written quotes using the Statement of Work form. Except as otherwise specifically stated herein to be provided by the County, the successful Contractor(s) shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, incidental items and supervision on an "as-needed" basis to provide and perform the requirements for projects related to the award(s) of this Request for Proposals (RFP). The award(s) resulting from this RFP is in no way a guarantee that the County will purchase labor, materials, equipment, or services for the duration of the master contract period.
