Genoa Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation - Phase I

The Genoa Gravity Sewer Rehabilitation Phase I is a public works project for Wayne County, North Carolina, located in Goldsboro. The scope of work involves the rehabilitation of approximately 4,750 linear feet of 6 to 18-inch gravity mains using Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP), the open-cut relocation of 610 linear feet of 8-inch gravity main, and the rehabilitation or replacement of several manholes. Additionally, the project includes critical infrastructure improvements at the Genoa, Landfill, Grantham Middle, Grantham Elementary, and Highway 117 pump stations, featuring the installation of flow meters, bypass connections, fall protection grating, and the replacement of generators and bar screens. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and eligible bidder who meets the required skill, ability, and integrity standards. The project is subject to Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements and American Iron and Steel guidance. Performance is governed by EJCDC Standard General Conditions and requires a quality-control plan to be submitted within 10 days of the Notice to Proceed.
