Purpose of Procurement  Purpose of Procurement  Pursuant to the State Purchasing Act (Official Code of Georgia Annotated 50-5-50 et seq.), this electronic Request for Proposals (eRFP) is being issued to establish a contract with a qualified supplier who will provide GGC Campuswide ePortfolio Platform to the Georgia Gwinnett College (the State Entity) as further described in this eRFP.  Project Background The Division of Academic and Student Affairs educates and empowers our diversestudent body, campus partners, and the broader community with data-driveninterventions and student success initiatives. We support students¿ academic successand personal development through active engagement and collaboration.ePortfolios empower students to consider how to curate and represent their developmentto a broad audience, faculty to embed and integrate reflective, experiential, and activelearning practices in their classrooms, administrative leadership with the analytics toassess and evaluate learning and system efficacy, and the broader community withopportunities to engage students about their learning, capabilities, and career readiness.ePortfolios support the acculturation of every student to a community of lifelong learningand strengthen the relationships between students, faculty, and external partners.ObjectivesThe objective of the RFP is to obtain a comprehensive ePortfolio platform thatfunctions as an external self-publication tool and internal learning management,high impact practice, and assessment system.Objectives and goals include:¿ Equip all students, faculty, and staff with a self-publication tool throughout their entiretime at the college;¿ Equip faculty and staff users with a tool for embedding high impact reflective andexperiential practices in courses and programs;¿ Provide platform-managed robust artifact and file storage for all users;¿ Assure individual user-specific ownership and access to all content stored on theplatform and offer options for continued student user access post-graduation;¿ Embed sophisticated and varied learning assessment tools and practices to supportcourse, program, and institution-wide assessment
