GILLESPIE FIELD AIRPORT – SPECIAL EVENT PERMIT FOR SPEER HANGARS OWNERS ASSOCIATION AND COMFORT COMMUNITIES (GF-666) (DISTRICT: 2)

The County of San Diego Department of Public Works has approved a special event permit for the Speer Hangars Owners Association and Comfort Communities to host a Client Apprehension Event. The event will take place at Gillespie Field Airport, specifically utilizing existing developed leasehold premises located at 2081 North Marshall Avenue, El Cajon, California. The scope of the permit is strictly limited to activities associated with the event and involves the use of existing public airport ancillary facilities without any expansion of the current facilities. This action was approved on December 3, 2025, with a Notice of Exemption completed on December 4, 2025. Under CEQA Section 15301, the project is exempt from further environmental review as it utilizes existing facilities and is determined to have no significant environmental impact.
