Full Description

The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to award a Sole Source Contract to Jacobs Technology Inc. in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1; only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements when it is likely that award to any other source would result in (A) Substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and (B) Unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency's requirements. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. The proposed contract will result in a three month base with three, one month options, for a total six month extension of Global Logistics and Acquisition Support Services (GLASS) contract W52P1J-13-D-0041 to extend services until the competitive follow-on contract award action and transition are complete. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this announcement is 541614 - Process, Physical Distribution and Logistics Consulting Services with a size standard of $7 Million.
